What makes them glow?
The Night Light is able to glow because of a technological advance using a safe, non-toxic phosphorous pigment. The condom is made with a patented 3-layer process. The center layer contains the phosphorous pigment while the inner and outer layers are regular latex, similar to other condoms. This seals the pigment between 2 layers of regular latex.
Instructions for proper use:
In order to glow, Night Light condoms need to be exposed to light for about 30 seconds. You can choose to light it up one of three ways: while the condom is still in its wrapper; when you are putting on the condom; or after it is already on.
If you expose the condom to light while it's still rolled up in the wrapper, the tip will glow more than the rest of the condom once it is unrolled. So for the best results, keep the lights on bright while you put on the condom, or turn up the lights for about 30 seconds after you have put it on. When you turn off the lights, prepare for a night to remember!
Night Light will glow brightly for about 15 minutes, followed by an afterglow that can last for hours.
Re-exposing the condom to light while it is still on will recharge it and make it glow brightly again. But remember, you should never re-use a condom.
